They neither toil, nor do they spin…Every year I’m amazed at what pops up in my yard though I know it’s coming.
Today was quite busy but that has become the norm. It’s good to come home to such a treat.
It has rained most of the day but somebody forgot to tell the lilies. They have bloomed without the least care.
Greek lore associates the lily with birth but depending on who you ask or what variety you have they symbolize both hope and death on the same stem.
I have a fascination with architecture. This is the walking bridge across the Arkansas river in Little Rock, AR.
Is it strange that I have many dreams about giant buildings and grand courtrooms?
I suppose I should have been an Architect.
Securing the perimeter is very serious business.
The ears must be locked and loaded at all times.
Shhh! Did you hear that?? I’m pretty sure it’s an evil kitty.
RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! DID YOU SEE THE SIZE OF THAT THING?
We took a little detour today down highway 70. I was hoping for something pretty to photograph and I sure did find it. The geese I found weren’t to happy to see me though. They honked away trying to run me off but they don’t know me very well. Seriously? I’m standing in swampy land, with Lord only knows what kind of vermin climbing up my ankles…I aint leavin’. I did remember to put my camera down, turn to my Mother and completely freak her out with a “Oh, by the way…watch out for water moccasins.”
