What my brain does when I’m not paying attention

bear

I dream some pretty wacked out stuff. Last night went way past psychotic. I was very angry at a woman for some unknown reason and kept attacking her. I would dig my nails into her face until I could physically feel the blood running down my fingers. I know what you’re thinking. Time for the pretty white jacket that ties in the back. I was thinking the same thing when I woke up. My brain scares me sometimes.

I often dream of flying. Not in an airplane. You know, just jump straight up into the air and start soaring around buildings. It just makes more sense than all those silly people on the ground walking. It’s my dream. Why not fly?

Then there are the repeaters. My dreaming mind goes back to the house I lived in when my Father was still alive. He is usually there as is my cousin Amanda that died at the age of five. I have casual conversations with the dead quite often. I almost always talk to them in that house. I wish just once I would remember to ask them “Hey, how about that heaven thing? Anything I should know?”

In the list of repeaters there are also the bears. I dream of bears often. My first bear dream occurred right before I got married 15 years ago. Most of the time I am there to help the bear. A perfectly logical dream right? Everyone feels the need to help a large furry creature with big teeth.

Do you ever wonder where your mind gets all of this crazy stuff? It’s obviously in there somewhere when I’m awake. Not exactly happy with that knowledge! Hopefully psychotic me will stay locked away in dream land…..

ok, i looked up the meaning of dreaming of bears. It is as follows:
To see a bear in your dream symbolizes independence, the cycle of life, death and renewal, and resurrection. You are undergoing a period of introspection and thinking. The dream may also be a pun on “bare”. Perhaps you need to bare your soul and let everything out into the open.

To dream that you are being pursued or attacked by a bear, denotes aggression, overwhelming obstacles and competition. You may find yourself in a threatening situation.

To see a polar bear in your dream signifies a reawakening. Alternatively, the polar bear symbolizes your frigid and cold emotions.

since you are helping bears I guess that means you are not aggressive nor competitive. Which I think is true. I think you have been going through a period of introspection for some time now. At least from my point of view.

I rarely dream but I did dream the other day we bought a house on the water. Now I woke up before I found out where this body of water was. Don’t know if it was in US or Canada. I hate when I wake up before the dream is finished. I spent hours looking on line for houses on water that looked like the one in my dream. What a waste of time. Sigh…..
